Handyperson service

Our trained volunteers deliver our handyperson service to people aged 65 or over living in North Lanarkshire.

What does the service cover?

Our volunteers can help with a number of household tasks, including:

  • Changing light bulbs
  • Hanging curtains
  • Packing removal boxes
  • Assembling small flat pack units
  • Fitting fluorescent tubes
  • Taking down light shades
  • Replacing batteries in smoke alarms
  • Re-setting electric timers such as heating controls

My husband is disabled and cannot manage basic tasks anymore. Having the Care and Repair service gives us a great deal of confidence.

How much does it cost?
